American Hydrotech
A maker of roofing and waterproofing systems built around Hydrotech Monolithic Membrane 6125, a hot fluid-applied rubberized asphalt membrane, together with Garden Roof vegetated roof assemblies, protected membrane roof assemblies, Hydrodrain drainage composites and the Ultimate Assembly paver deck. Its About page states the company was founded in 1977 after acquiring the United States distribution rights to MM6125, developed in the early 1960s by Uniroyal Ltd., that it is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and that its products are sold only to pre-approved contractors. Its own press page reports that Sika acquired American Hydrotech Inc. and its Canadian affiliate, Hydrotech Membrane Corporation, and the site now presents the brand as Sika Roofing and Waterproofing; its contact page and current Garden Roof brochure give that business's address as Canton, Massachusetts rather than Chicago.
Atlas Roofing Corporation
A manufacturer of asphalt shingles, polyiso insulation, and underlayments, known for Scotchgard-protected shingles and the StormMaster impact-resistant line.
BITEC
A manufacturer of modified bitumen roofing membranes founded in 1986 by Bruce Shealey to introduce European roofing technologies to the U.S. market. Elevate

Formerly Firestone Building Products; became "Elevate," the premier commercial brand of the Holcim Building Envelope division, in 2022. Holcim spun off its North American business as an independent, publicly traded company named Amrize in June 2025, and Elevate's homepage now states it is "Now Part of Amrize" and that, "Under Amrize, our Elevate brand will continue delivering the trusted products and services you know and rely on." Flex Membrane International
A thermoplastic single-ply roofing manufacturer trading as Flex Roofing Systems, established in 1990 per its own About page, which says it pioneered modified PVC single-ply membranes incorporating DuPont Elvaloy KEE. It markets three membrane systems, Flex Elvaloy (KEE), Flex PVC and Flex TPO, with accessories, adhesives and fasteners, installed through certified installers. Its data sheets give its address as 5103A Pottsville Pike, Reading, Pennsylvania.
GAF
North America's largest roofing manufacturer, producing residential asphalt shingles and commercial low-slope systems. A Standard Industries company.
Gardner-Gibson
A manufacturer of asphalt-based, rubberized, and siliconized-acrylic liquid-applied roof coatings, roof cements, and underlayments, sold under the Gardner and Sta-Kool brand names. Its product data sheets list its address as Gardner-Gibson, P.O. Box 5449, Tampa, Florida 33675-5449, which matches its own site's contact footer.
GenFlex Roofing Systems
A manufacturer of TPO and EPDM single-ply roofing membranes plus modified-bitumen (APP and SBS) products for commercial low-slope roofs, founded in 1981 in Maumee, Ohio, as one of the first dedicated single-ply roofing manufacturers. GenFlex is now part of the Amrize family of building-envelope brands.
Henry Company

The North American arm of Kemper System, a German maker of cold liquid-applied, fleece-reinforced waterproofing, roofing and surfacing membranes sold under the KEMPEROL brand, including polyurethane, PMMA and hybrid acrylic roof resins and coatings. Its corporate history states the group was founded in Vellmar, Germany in 1957, that its first international subsidiary, Kemper System, Inc., was established in the USA in 1990, that Kemper System America, Inc. started production in West Seneca, New York in 2010, and that it acquired STS Coatings, Inc. in 2017. Its technical data sheets give its address as 1200 North America Drive, West Seneca, New York.
La Escandella
A Spanish maker of ceramic clay roof tile, roof accessories and tile-integrated photovoltaic systems, operating as Cerámica La Escandella S.A. in Agost, Alicante. In the United States its Planum, Selectum, Curved and Mixed Large S tiles are sold through Santafé Tile Corporation, and Miami-Dade County Notices of Acceptance name Agost as the place of manufacture.
Luma Solar
A maker of building-integrated solar roofing that pairs 100-watt solar shingles with non-solar metal shingles in a single roof system installed like conventional metal roofing. Luma Solar says it developed the first fully integrated solar rooftop shingle system in North America, that its shingles are designed by roofing experts with more than 50 years of installation experience, and that its system is the only upgradeable solar shingle system. Its home page quotes press coverage naming Robert and Gary Allen as its founders, and its About page points readers to Allen Brothers Inc. under the heading Developed by Roofing Experts. Its product flyer is issued by Luma Resources, LLC of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and systems are installed through a network of certified installers.

A family-owned asphalt shingle manufacturer that pioneered polymer-modified (SBS rubberized) asphalt and NEX smog-reducing granule technology in residential shingles.
MBTechnology
A Fresno, California manufacturer of SBS modified bitumen roofing and underlayment systems for residential and commercial application, founded in 1983. Its lines include the foil-surfaced MetalflexSBS cap sheet, the FastorchSBS, FireguardSBS, SupercapSBS and Ecotorch torch and cap membranes, LayflatSBS and LayfastSBS base sheets, Selfstick SA Cap and the Ice & Moisture Block SBS self-adhered underlayments, applied by cold adhesive, heat welding, hot asphalt or self-adhesion. Its website states that MBTechnology is now a part of Henry, a Carlisle company.
Mule-Hide Products
A manufacturer of low-slope roofing products - single-ply membranes, modified bitumen, coatings, and cements - marketed to contractors. A subsidiary of ABC Supply Co., Inc., headquartered in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Owens Corning
A global building-products manufacturer known for its pink fiberglass insulation and its Duration line of laminated asphalt shingles with the SureNail nailing strip.
PABCO Roofing Products
A family-owned manufacturer of premium asphalt roofing shingles, in business since 1984, and a division of Pacific Coast Building Products.
Performance Roof Systems
A Kansas City manufacturer of APP modified bitumen roofing membranes sold under the DERBIGUM and DERBICOLOR names, along with base sheets, self-adhered sheets, vapor barriers, liquid-applied and vegetative roofing products. The company traces the DERBIGUM membrane to Imperbel of Brussels, Belgium, which imported APP-modified asphalt membrane technology from Italy in the early 1970s, and states its American manufacturing operation was built in Kansas City in 1980. SOPREMA, Inc. acquired DERBIGUM Americas, Inc. in August 2018, and its name was changed to Performance Roof Systems, Inc., A SOPREMA Group Company, in January 2022.
Polyglass USA
A manufacturer of modified-bitumen roofing and waterproofing membranes and roof coatings for low- and steep-slope roofs, known for self-adhered ADESO technology. Part of the Mapei Group, headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Roofit.Solar
Roofit.Solar is an Estonian company, founded in 2016, that makes building-integrated solar roof panels combining a steel roof covering and a photovoltaic module in one product. Its data sheets are issued by Roofit Solar Energy OÜ of Tallinn, Estonia. Its lines are the Velario and Velario Slim double-seam panels and the NuClick 2.0 click-seam panel. Its contact page states its products are available in Europe, the United States and Canada.
Seaman Corporation
A privately held, multi-generational family-owned manufacturer of high-performance coated fabrics, founded in 1949 in Canal Fulton, Ohio as Modern Textile & Plastics Company and now headquartered in Wooster, Ohio. Its FiberTite division manufactures KEE (Ketone Ethylene Ester) single-ply commercial roof membranes, introduced in 1979, built on a proprietary woven-fabric-reinforced construction rather than the loosely constructed scrim used in conventional TPO and PVC membranes.
Sika Sarnafil
The commercial roofing business of Sika, marketed as Sika Roofing & Waterproofing, manufacturing Sarnafil PVC and Sikaplan thermoplastic single-ply membranes for low-slope commercial roofs. US roofing operations are headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts.
Siplast
A manufacturer of commercial roofing, waterproofing, and building enclosure materials, including SBS-modified bitumen membranes (Paradiene, Parafor, Veral, Teranap), PMMA liquid-applied flashing and roof membranes (Parapro), PVC and TPO single-ply membranes (Parasolo), lightweight insulating concrete, and air barriers. Siplast says it developed the first foil-faced asphaltic membrane (Veral) in 1958 and, with Royal Dutch Shell, unveiled Paradiene, the first SBS roofing membrane, in 1965. It incorporated in the United States in 1979, opened a manufacturing facility in Arkadelphia, Arkansas in 1981, where it also runs its RISE storm testing center, and says it joined forces with Standard Industries in 2016. The site says it manufactures more than 100 products.
SOPREMA
A manufacturer of SBS-modified bitumen membranes (SOPRALENE), PVC single-ply membranes (SENTINEL), and liquid-applied roofing and waterproofing (ALSAN). Founded in France in 1908; its US operations are headquartered in Wadsworth, Ohio.
SunStyle
A Swiss maker of building-integrated photovoltaic roofing in which diamond-shaped glass solar tiles, laid in an overlapping pattern modeled on alpine slate roofs, form the structural roof and the energy-generating surface at once. SunStyle offers a 745 mm tile and an 870 mm tile, the latter marked on its site as available in the USA, Mexico, Canada and France, in black, grey and terracotta colorways with matching inactive tiles. Its About page states the company is based in Bern, Switzerland, established SunStyle International SAS in Paris with Akuo Energy, expanded its headquarters to the United States, and formed a strategic partnership with CertainTeed to broaden its U.S. offerings; its datasheets give the address of SunStyle AG in Bolligen, Switzerland, and its contact page lists a U.S. office in Malvern, Pennsylvania. SunStyle sells through installation partners, who handle warranty claims.
TAMKO Building Products
A family-owned American manufacturer of asphalt shingles, cements and coatings, and waterproofing, best known for its Heritage line of laminated shingles.
Tarco
One of the largest independently owned manufacturers of roofing and building envelope products in North America, producing roofing underlayments, self-adhesive membranes, traditional roll roofing, and waterproofing materials since 1978 from its Little Rock, Arkansas headquarters.
Texas Refinery Corp
Texas Refinery Corp is a family-owned manufacturer of lubricants and protective coatings, chartered in Texas in 1922 as Panther Oil and Grease Manufacturing Company and based in Fort Worth, Texas. Its Protective Coatings Division makes cold-process asphalt roof coatings and primers under the MIGHTYPLATE name, asphalt-based aluminum roof coatings, an elastomeric copolymer roof coating, modified bitumen roofing membranes and roofing reinforcement fabrics. The company states it has built a new manufacturing facility in Mansfield, Texas.
The Garland Company
An employee-owned manufacturer of built-up, modified bitumen, single-ply and metal roofing systems and coatings, founded in 1895 as Garland Refining Company and renamed The Garland Company, Inc. under Ohio law in 1914. Garland introduced StressPly in 1980 as the first high-performance modified bitumen roofing system manufactured in North America and has operated from its Cleveland, Ohio plant since 1919.
Tremco Roofing
The roofing division of Tremco CPG Inc., manufacturing hot- and cold-applied built-up roofing (BURmastic), SBS and APP modified bitumen membranes (POWERply) and single-ply, liquid-applied and metal roofing systems. Headquartered at 3735 Green Road, Beachwood, Ohio, per the company's own corporate schema markup.
U.S. Ply, Inc.
A manufacturer of SBS and APP modified bitumen roofing membranes and built-up roofing components under the DuraFlex, DuraWeld, USP 160, TuffCap 190 and RapidGRIP brands, headquartered in Bridgeport, Texas. Its product data sheets state its membranes are UL Classified, Factory Mutual approved, and listed with the Florida Building Code and the Texas Department of Insurance, and are made in the U.S.A.
