The directory tracks 545 local permitting authorities across the hail belt: whether a roofing permit is required, whether the jurisdiction requires contractor registration, the adopted code, inspection requirements, and the permit portal — each with a cited source. Per-city hubs pull a city’s permit rules, local suppliers, and hail-appropriate materials onto one page.

Sourcing and certifications

Cross-reference 44 manufacturers and their certification programs (the credentials that back enhanced warranties), find 12 distributors by their branch cities, and filter materials by attribute — Class 4 impact-resistant, Class A fire-rated, by slope, and by material family.
