LiveRoof describes itself as a division of Hortech, Inc., and states that LiveRoof Global, LLC was formed in 2006. Its modules are grown to maturity by a network of licensed growers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and New Zealand, and it states that its plastic modules, concrete pavers and aluminum edging are manufactured in the United States. The company says its systems are compatible with most waterproofing membranes rather than supplying a membrane of its own.
