RoofEdge is LiveRoof's patented L-shaped aluminum edge restraint for green roofs, made in heights matching the four LiveRoof module depths and extruded, fabricated and finished in the United States. The technical bulletin states it is extruded from Alloy 6063 in T6 temper, with Standard and Lite profiles at a minimum thickness of 0.085 in and Deep and Maxx profiles at 0.115 in; finishes are mill aluminum or black or bronze anodize. LiveRoof also stocks factory-formed corners, fabricated drain boxes with latched lids, and 12 in square boxes for roof anchors and penetrations. The warranty covers the structural integrity of the edging for fifteen years from purchase, as repair or replacement edging only, and excludes visual changes from oxidization.
