LiveRoof's patented hybrid green roof module is a plastic tray delivered fully vegetated, with soil grown up above the module rim on removable Soil Elevators so the installed roof reads as continuous planting without grid lines. It is offered in four soil depths: Lite (2.5 in, 12 in x 24 in module, saturated weight 17 lb/sq ft or less), Standard (4.25 in, 29 lb/sq ft or less, which LiveRoof says is used on 80% or more of its projects), Deep (6 in, 50 lb/sq ft or less) and Maxx (8 in, 12 in x 12 in module, 65 lb/sq ft or less). The System Properties sheet lists FM Approval under the FM 4477 standard for vegetative roof systems, an ASTM E108 Class A fire result with succulent plantings (tested on one system and stated as expected for others based on similar testing), and a sustained wind uplift result of 200 psf under CAN/CSA A123.24-15 when installed with WindDisc connectors. The warranty page states the module is warranted against material defects and photodegradation for 50 years from installation, provided the system stays soil-covered and is bounded by edging, RoofStone pavers or a parapet; plant warranties are offered by the maintenance provider or grower, not by LiveRoof.
