ITW Buildex, established in 1967, is a division of Illinois Tool Works Inc. manufacturing Teks self-drilling screws, Dektite pipe flashings, and related fastening products for the commercial construction industry, including screws purpose-built for attaching metal roof panels and roof clips and for weather-tight sealing of roof and wall penetrations, with a proprietary Climaseal corrosion-resistant coating. It operates today as part of ITW Commercial Construction, alongside the Red Head anchoring and Ramset fastening brands, with manufacturing and distribution centers in Roselle, Itasca, and Elgin, Illinois.
