Nederland Municipal Code Sec. 18-1 ("Adoption of primary codes"), as codified through Ordinance No. 884 (enacted January 6, 2026, Supp. No. 22), adopts by reference the 2018 editions of the International Building, Residential, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fuel Gas, Energy Conservation, Property Maintenance, Existing Building and Fire Codes, together with the 2023 edition of the National Electrical Code. This record previously read "2024 ICC codes, with the 2026 National Electrical Code", which the Town's own codified chapter contradicts on both counts; that claim rested on a Town web page removed in the 2026 site migration. Chapter 18 also carries the Town's amendments to those codes at Sec. 18-2.
