Inspection requirements
A mid-roof inspection is required after the roof covering is removed. Inspections are requested through the Planning and Zoning Department at 970-542-3526 or the building inspector at 970-768-7197, and all work must be inspected and approved prior to concealment.

Provide drip edge metal at eaves and gable ends. Eave and gable edge metal shall extend a minimum of 2 inches onto the roof surface and 1½ inches over the exposed decking edge." (R903.2.2 is the drip- edge section number under the 2009 IRC, superseded by R905.2.8.5 in later editions.)
