It contains no impact-resistance or UL 2218 Class 4 requirement, and it does not amend IRC Section R905.2.4. Ordinance No. 1104, which adds the Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code to Chapter 18, was also reviewed in full and is a fire-classification instrument. Shingle repair or replacement not exceeding one square (100 square feet) per building is exempt from permit.
Sales & use tax
5.9% combined (state 2.9% + Weld County 0%, no county sales tax + Town of Mead 3%; no RTD/SCFD/RTA district applies). Weld County does not appear in Colorado Department of Revenue form DR 1002's "State-Collected Colorado County Sales Tax" table, meaning it levies no county sales tax. DR 1002 (rev. 06/19/19) lists Mead's own state-collected city rate as 2%, but that figure is stale: Mead Municipal Code § 4-4-40(a), as amended by Ordinance No. 1046 (§ 3, 8-28-2023), currently reads "Commencing on January 1, 2022, there is imposed on all sales of tangible personal property at retail or furnishing of services in the Town... a tax equal to three percent (3%)," raised from the 2% rate DR 1002 still shows. Re-verified 2026-08-27 against the January 2026 edition of Colorado Department of Revenue form DR 1002, read from a rendered image of its tables rather than from extracted text: the state, county and city figures above match that edition exactly. Where the text above names the June 19, 2019 revision of DR 1002, that describes the edition the figure was originally taken from and is not a current citation.
