None of the 52 items touches IRC Chapter 9 (Roof Assemblies, R901-R908); Chapter 9 is adopted unamended. No UL 2218, Class 4, or impact-resistance provision appears anywhere in the ordinance. A separate Code Adoption Letter dated December 16, 2025 from the City's Building Official confirms the concurrent adoption of the 2024 IBC, IRC, IPC, IFGC, IMC and 2023 NEC and states these are "generally consistent with code requirements in Wichita and Sedgwick County," but the City enacted and hosts its own separate IRC ordinance rather than incorporating the Wichita/Sedgwick County Unified Building and Trade Code by reference.
