Est. 1901Butler Manufacturing was founded in Kansas City in 1901 and makes pre-engineered metal building systems, including roof, wall, structural framing and insulation systems sold through its Butler Builder network. Its roof systems include the MR-24 standing seam roof, introduced in 1969, the Butlerib II through-fastened roof and the VSR II architectural standing seam roof. BlueScope Steel Limited acquired the company in 2004, and it is a division of BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc.
