XF + GM (XF + Growth Media) is XeroFlor's lightweight built-up green roof assembly, printed at 24 lb per square foot with 2 in of growth media, plus 6.6 lb for each additional inch. XeroFlor positions it for retrofits, especially in southern climates needing more moisture in dry seasons, saying the added media increases water retention and supports a wider plant selection. It uses the same component schedule as the other built-up systems: LDPE root barrier, drainage mat, retention layer, XF398 or XF399 growing media and the XF300 pre-vegetated sedum mat.
