XF + BR (XF + Stormwater Bio-Retention) is XeroFlor's simplest built-up green roof assembly, printed at 15 lb per square foot including the sedum layer. It pairs a high-capacity retention layer with a robust drainage layer, and XeroFlor calls it its second lightest system, aimed at projects with limited structural capacity and tight installation budgets. It draws on the same component schedule of root barrier, drainage mat, retention layer and pre-vegetated sedum mat as the other XeroFlor systems.
