A water-based acrylic emulsion primer that the technical bulletin says adheres to difficult metallic substrates, gives corrosion resistance over carbon steel, and bonds over most single-ply membranes and smooth or granulated APP, SBS, mopping asphalt and asphalt emulsion surfaces. It is also used to separate (divorce) asphalt products from reactive compounds ahead of a coating or maintenance system and aids the adhesion of acrylic coatings in ponding conditions. It dries clear and is applied by roller, brush or spray at 1 to 1-1/2 gallons per 100 sq. ft., at a minimum of 55 F, and is sold in 5-gallon pails.
