A water-based, 100% acrylic elastomeric base coat designed to adhere to smooth APP modified bitumen and other asphaltic surfaces and to resist ponding water, intended to be finished with #720 ARC or #790 AFC ElastaHyde rather than left as the top coat. With polyester reinforcement it forms a fluid-applied membrane, and the maker says the reinforced coating system is FM Approved. The technical bulletin lists white only, initial reflectivity of 83%, an SRI of 104, a dry Class A under U.L. 790 reinforced and non-reinforced and under ASTM E108, and says a 10 mil surface coat of #720 or #790 is needed to meet California Title 24. The product page headline reads "#770 ARC ElastaHyde" while its body copy calls the product "#770 AXP".
