VB Extreme SA is VB Synthetics' self-adhered peel-and-stick synthetic roofing underlayment for sloped roofs, with an SBS-modified bitumen adhesive that bonds to plywood and metal, a split release liner silicone-coated on both sides and a light-grey SureGrip/SlipGuard high-traction top surface. The brochure prints a 48 mil thickness, 36-inch by 66-foot two-square rolls at 48 lb, UV resistance for up to 180 days, a nail-sealability pass to ASTM D1970, a Class A fire rating to ASTM E108, and states it is ASTM D1970, AC-48 and Florida Building Code approved. The brochure gives the temperature performance range as -20 F to 260 F in its description and as -40 F to 260 F elsewhere, and the product page's own physical-properties and code table repeats the woven mechanically attached underlayment figures (ASTM D226 Type II, ICC-ES AC207, 48-inch by 250-foot rolls) used on VB's other products. VB states a 50-year limited warranty applies to all its underlayments.
