Paratech is Siplast's SBS-modified bitumen membrane line for two-ply, homogeneous multi-layer roof systems, which Siplast pitches as a solid solution for K-12 schools and similar commercial buildings. Its sheets use a proprietary asphalt blend (Siplast's comparison table lists a "quality blend" for Paratech, an "advanced blend" for Parafor and a "premium blend" for Paradiene) and come as base sheets with a mineral parting agent (Glass Base, Glass Base 3.0, 180 Base and 250 Base) and granule-surfaced cap sheets (Glass Cap FR, 180 Cap, 180 Cap FR, 250 Cap and 250 Cap FR), reinforced with a lightweight glass mat or a 180- or 250-gram polyester mat. Cap sheets are offered in Bone White, Gray A9 or Bright White granules. Siplast lists torch-applied, cold adhesive, SFT adhesive, hot asphalt, mechanically attached and self-adhesive versions, and says the cap sheets are limited to adhesive application in the cold and hot applied systems.
