Parasolo TPX is Siplast's heat-weldable thermoplastic single-ply roof membrane made from a TPX blend, which Siplast describes as the TPO that meets its performance standards, with increased UV and high-temperature performance over standard TPO membranes. It comes in smooth-surface and polyester fleece-back versions in multiple thicknesses and sheet widths and is used as a field or flashing sheet. It is installed mechanically fastened, adhered with low-rise foam or solvent-based adhesive, induction welded with RhinoBond, or in hybrid assemblies over a Siplast Paradiene 20 SBS-modified bitumen base ply, which Siplast rates best for multi-ply redundancy and phased construction. Siplast lists it among its cool roofing solutions and sells TPO-compatible flashing, primers, cover tape, slip sheets and walkway rolls for it.
