PRS SA Base is a self-adhered base sheet made from a fiberglass mat coated with SBS modified bitumen, with a minimum SBS concentration of 8% and a maximum filler concentration of 30% by weight of the asphalt compound. The data sheet lists a thickness of 50 mil (1.27 mm) and a roll 66.8 ft long and 36 in wide for 180 square feet of net coverage, and states it meets ASTM D4601 Type II. It is applied without torches, open flames, hot asphalt or solvent-based adhesives.
