PRS Glass Base is a base or ply sheet made from a fiberglass mat coated with oxidized asphalt, intended for use over lightweight insulating fill decks, gypsum or other substrates where lateral venting is required. The data sheet lists a roll 108 ft long and 36 in wide weighing 78.5 lb, and states it meets ASTM D4601 Type II. It is applied in hot asphalt or mechanically fastened, and the product page states it carries an Underwriters Laboratories G2 classification.
