Performance Roof Systems Plastic Roof Cement is made of refined asphalt, solvents and non-asbestos fillers for temporary patching of cracks and breaks in roof surfaces, daily water cutoffs, roofing metal embedment and flashing around skylights, chimneys, vents and gutters. It is a heavy bodied cement applied by trowel, putty knife or gloved hand at approximately 1/4 inch thick. The data sheet lists a 4.75 gallon container and states it meets ASTM D4586 Type 1.
