Derbigum XPS is a 4.0 mm (160 mil) smooth-surfaced APP modified bitumen roofing membrane, triple reinforced with a heat resistant non-woven fiberglass mat followed by a fiberglass and polyester scrim. Performance Roof Systems states that top placement of the reinforcement filters UV so the membrane needs no granule surfacing or roof coating for protection. It is applied with PERMASTIC Cold Adhesive or heat welded, and is listed among the company's cap sheets and base sheets.
