Water-based primers made to work with the R-Mer Coat topcoat on previously coated metal substrates. R-Mer Coat Primer is the white primer for existing coated metal, applied at 400 to 450 sq. ft. per gallon with VOC under 25 g/L; R-Mer Coat PVDF Primer is the gray version with its own data sheet for Kynar 500 PVDF finishes or surfaces previously painted with a PVDF-based finish, applied at 600 sq. ft. per gallon. Both come in 5 gallon pails.
