Fiberglass-reinforced asphalt-based roof membrane modified with a polyurethane resin chemically locked to the asphalt, used as the top ply of a two-ply modified bitumen system, the top ply of a two-ply flashing, or for repairs to existing asphalt roofs. Offered as smooth OptiMax (80 mil nominal, 100 sq. ft. rolls) and OptiMax FR Mineral (145 mil nominal, 75 sq. ft. rolls), both 1 m wide. Hot-applied in ASTM D 312 Type III or IV asphalt or Garland HPR All-Temp, or cold-applied in Weatherking or Green-Lock adhesive over a Garland modified base sheet. The finished membrane meets or exceeds ASTM D 6163 Type III.
