The Round Back Vent is Active Ventilation Products' low-profile round static roof vent, with a one-piece spun aluminum vented lid over 1/8 in. inner louvers, sold in 3 to 12 in. diameters (models RBV-3 to RBV-12) with a 2 in. or 4 in. tall collar and in unpainted aluminum or powder-coated colors. The family also covers a curb mount flange (CMF) version, a roof jack version with a corrugated tailpipe for bathroom fans and ducts (TP), a 12 in. intake version with the top third of the collar closed, and versions with a profile-matched base for SM-Rib exposed-fastener metal roofs. The 6 in. model RBV-6-C2 prints 28 square inches of net free area, an 11 x 11 in. flange and a 3/12 to 12/12 pitch range, and its specification sheet lists UL 20170510-R38772, Intertek 105373987CRT-004b, Florida and Texas approval FL4763-R4 and Miami-Dade approval 22-0722.08. A 2017 UL certificate of compliance covers the flat-flange models under TAS 202, ASTM E330 and California Building Code Chapter 7A, Section 706A.2, and a 2026 UL certificate lists the CMF models, with and without AVP square roof curbs, at design pressures of 82.94 to 112.5 psf.
