The Round Back Solar Fan is Active Ventilation Products' solar-powered roof exhaust fan in rust-free aluminum, installed near the roof peak on pitches of 3/12 to 12/12, and sold in an 8 in. diameter with a 2 in. or 4 in. tall collar (RBSF-8-C2, RBSF-8-C4) rated at 365 CFM at peak sunlight and a 12 in. diameter (RBSF-12-C2) rated at 740 CFM. The RBSF-8-C2 sheet prints a 13 x 13 in. square flange, a seamless spun cap, 50 square inches of net free area and 365 CFM at 0.1 in. static pressure. AVP says the fan keeps venting passively through the Stack Effect when there is no sun, offers powder-coated colors, and sells an optional tandem 5-watt solar panel.
