The Round Back Attic Fan is Active Ventilation Products' low-profile, roof-mounted powered attic ventilator in rust-free aluminum, sold in a 6 in. diameter with a 2 in. or 4 in. tall collar (models RBF-6-C2 and RBF-6-C4), either with an 11 x 11 in. flat flange for pitched roofs or a 9.5 in. curb mount flange (CMF) for flat-roof curbs. The RBF-6-C2 sheet prints a total of 120 CFM from a 5 in. propeller drawing a maximum of 0.3 amps, 28 square inches of net free area and a 3/12 to 12/12 pitch range, and the fan plugs into a 110-volt outlet. AVP says the fan keeps exhausting passively through the Stack Effect when the motor is off, and offers optional simple, temperature-sensor and thermostat/humidistat shut-off switches and painted colors. The specification sheet states a 1 year warranty.
