The Aura Vent is Active Ventilation Products' round aluminum gravity roof ventilator for steep-slope roofs, which works like a roof turbine with no moving parts: wind across its outer louvers creates an upward draft, and inner louvers keep out insects and animals. The 10 in. model page (AV-10-C4) prints 78 inches of net free area, a 15 x 15 in. square flange, installation at 3/12 to 7/12 pitch within 4 feet of the peak (12/12 with a modification), and 248 CFM at 11 mph wind, and describes the vents as UL-listed and rated up to 50+ PSF or wind pressure above 200 MPH, Texas Department of Insurance certified and Florida State Approved. A 2017 UL certificate of compliance posted by the company covers Aura Vent models AV-04 through AV-24 under TAS 202, ASTM E330 and California Building Code Chapter 7A, Section 706A.2.
