Root Stop is Hydrotech's smooth polyethylene geomembrane root barrier, made from virgin polyethylene resin and laid over Monolithic Membrane 6125 in Hydrotech Garden Roof assemblies. It comes in three weights, each with its own data sheet: Root Stop Standard (10 mil) for extensive assemblies, lawns and planters with herbaceous plants only; Root Stop HD (30 mil) for perennials, woody plants, tree wells and planters; and Root Stop Bamboo (60 mil) where clumping bamboo is planted. Standard and HD rolls are 15 by 100 feet, loose laid over Hydroflex 30 and lapped 5 feet, or 2.5 feet with taped laps; Bamboo rolls are 5 feet wide in 100 or 50 foot lengths.
