HydroSeal 1K is Hydrotech's cold-applied liquid flashing membrane for exposed flashing details on Monolithic Membrane 6125 roofs and decks: a single-component, low-VOC, moisture-triggered aliphatic polyurethane resin that is fully adhered and applied over HydroSeal 1K Epoxy Primer with a reinforcing layer of HydroSeal 1K Fleece or HydroSeal 1K Fiber Reinforcement. The maker positions it for places where exposed base flashings would be visible or where clearances are tight or surfaces are irregular, says the liquid flashing conforms to most shapes and can replace pitch pans and metal sleeves, and lists adhesion to concrete, brick, terra-cotta, limestone, wood, glass, copper, steel and aluminum. It comes in standard grey and white, with custom colors at a minimum order quantity. It is distinct from Hydrotech HydroSeal, a two-component PMMA resin membrane the maker lists separately.
