Hydrocap FR is Hydrotech's fire rated, heavy duty protection and cap sheet of SBS polymer modified bitumen on a non-woven polyester mat with a ceramic granule surface, embedded in Monolithic Membrane 6125 roofing assemblies as the protection course. It comes as Hydrocap 90 FR (130 mils, 105 lb roll), which the data sheet says must be used as the separation and protection sheet where FM approval is required for MM6125 roofing and may be left exposed for up to 9 months, and Hydrocap 160 FR (160 mils, 118 lb roll), which may also be used as a finished surface with sealed laps. Rolls are about 1 m by 32.8 ft. Both data sheets list ASTM D6163, Type I, Grade G; the 160 FR sheet also lists Factory Mutual and Miami-Dade approval.
