A custom-engineered, self-supporting skylight system of extruded aluminum framing (6063-T5, 6063-T6 or 6061-T6) with condensation gutters formed into the rafter extrusions, factory fabricated and shipped for field assembly, glazed from 1/4 in. single glazing to 2 in. insulating glass. The guide specification covers single pitch, pyramid, double pitch (gable or hipped end), sawtooth, curved and segmented barrel vault, lean-to and polygon geometries, and the maker also shows round skylights; the C-Series is the same system components shipped knocked down for field cutting and assembly, limited to standard geometries. The guide specification sets air infiltration of no more than 0.02 cfm/sq ft under ASTM E283, no uncontrolled water leakage under ASTM E331 and AAMA 501 at 12 psf, structural testing under ASTM E330 and a condensation resistance factor of at least 62 under AAMA 1503-09. Optional hurricane rated designs are tested to TAS 201, 202 and 203, with capped and capless versions listed under Florida approvals FL# 40693 (HVHZ, small and large missile) and FL# 8735.1 (outside HVHZ), and blast rated designs are engineered per project; the guide specification calls for a ten-year framing warranty from substantial completion.
