A thermally broken single-leaf roof hatch in 11 gauge aluminum with a mill finish, with 3 in. polyisocyanurate (R-20) in the curb and cover to reduce condensation and building energy costs. It has a thermally broken single-wall curb and counterflashing, a cover stiffened for a 40 psf live load, a gas spring with damper and a slam latch rated for 20 psf wind uplift. Stock ladder and stair sizes run from 36 x 30 in. to 30 x 96 in., within a 26 x 24 in. minimum and 48 x 120 in. maximum, with double-wall curb, taller curb and stainless hardware options. The submittal notes it suits pitched roofs up to 7:12.
