A Dur-Red Products double-door automatic roof smoke vent, UL 793 listed and labeled up to 48 x 96 in., whose gas springs open the covers against a 10 psf snow load when a 165 F UL 33 listed fusible link melts or a pull handle is used. It has a 14 gauge galvanneal steel curb, 11 gauge aluminum covers with an 18 gauge liner, 1 in. polyisocyanurate (R-6) in curb and cover, and a rotary latch that holds the covers closed against 90 psf wind uplift. Sizes run from 48 x 48 in. to 48 x 96 in., with double-wall or curb-mount curb, 2 in. insulation, higher-temperature or electrical McCabe link, and standing seam metal roof curb options. The maker states it was formerly known as the UFV, UFSH or FSH series.
