A Dur-Red Products single-leaf roof hatch for ladder and stair access, in 14 gauge galvanneal steel with a 22 gauge liner (gray textured powder coat) or 11 gauge aluminum with an 18 gauge liner (silver textured powder coat). Curb and cover carry 1 in. polyisocyanurate (R-6) insulation, with an EPDM sponge rubber seal, compression-spring lift assistance and a single or two-point slam latch. The single-point latch model runs from 24 x 24 in. to 48 x 54 in., with a two-point latch model for larger sizes, and curb-mount and metal-seam or pitched-curb versions are offered. The maker states it was formerly known as the SSH, NSH or LH series.
