Of Sec. 15.26.020's roughly thirty numbered amendment items, only two touch roofing: R801.3 (Roof-Ceiling Construction, redefining roof drainage/guttering) and R902.1 (Roof Assemblies, Chapter 9), which the city rewrites to require roof coverings be a minimum Class C, with Class A, B or C required near property lines, "tested in accordance with UL 790 or ASTM E 108" -- a fire classification, not an impact rating.
