A non-profit trade association of slate roofing contractors, established in Pennsylvania in 2005 and incorporated in 2008, with its office in Grove City, Pennsylvania and members on three continents. It publishes installation and repair guidelines for natural quarried roofing slate in English and Spanish that are free to the public, runs slate installation and repair courses and seminars delivered by authorized instructors, and keeps member listings, a contractor directory and source lists for new and salvaged slate, tile, sheet metal and consultants. It is a member of the International Federation for the Roofing Trades and an affiliate member of the National Roofing Contractors Association.
