The trade association for the North American rigid polyisocyanurate (polyiso) insulation industry, whose members make most of the polyiso sold in North America, a product the association promotes as roof insulation and cover board for commercial roof assemblies. It dates its founding to 1987, as a forum for finding replacements for ozone-depleting substances, and today represents the industry at building code and standards venues, publishes technical bulletins and environmental product declarations, and runs the QualityMark program, which provides third-party certification of long-term thermal resistance (LTTR) values for polyiso roof insulation boards from participating manufacturers.
