Florida's statewide association of roofing, sheet metal and air conditioning contractors, founded in 1922, whose membership also takes in manufacturers, suppliers, manufacturers' representatives and roofing consultants. FRSA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit governed by a board elected from eight membership districts plus directors named by its local affiliate associations. It publishes Florida Roofing magazine, supports an educational and research foundation, sponsors the BrightFund self-insurers fund for workers' compensation, and represents members before government and code bodies.
