Suppliers / Big Rock Supply

Chicago-area supplier of roofing tools, equipment and accessories that began as a mail-order catalog spun off in the early 1990s by The Frey Company, founded in Chicago in 1922 as Frank P. Frey & Company and still guided by the founder's family. It acquired RACE Roofing Supplies Ltd in late 2008 and moved to the RACE location in Bensenville, where it runs a warehouse superstore close to O'Hare International Airport. The superstore carries roofing tools and equipment, tarps, safety and fall-protection gear, fasteners, flashings, roof hatches, roof drains, sealants, coatings, underlayment and other roofing materials, and repairs equipment and heat-welding tools. It sells to professionals and do-it-yourselfers, and has sold roofing tools online since 2000.
