Town of Fraser Ordinance No. 533, Series 2026 (adopted April 1, 2026, effective July 1, 2026) amends Fraser Municipal Code Chapter 18 to adopt: "(1) International Building Code, 2021 edition, with amendments as provided herein; (2) International Residential Code, 2021 edition...; (4) International Mechanical Code, 2021 edition...; (5) International Fuel Gas Code, 2021 edition...; (6) International Fire Code, 2021 edition, including all Appendices...; (8) International Existing Building Code, 2021 edition...; (9) International Energy Conservation Code, 2021 edition...; (11) Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code, 2025 edition, with amendments as provided herein." The ordinance also adds Wildfire Defensible Space Requirements to Chapter 19: "The majority of the Town of Fraser is designated as Moderate Fire Intensity Risk or High Fire Intensity according to the official Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code Map. As such, all properties within Fraser shall comply with the Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code," and directs that "Any scope of work subject to the Chapter 18 Building Regulations must consult the Wildfire Resiliency Code adopted therein" — which sets statewide structure- hardening standards including Class A roofing materials for new construction and for re-roofing/re-siding projects affecting 25% or more of a structure.
