Sloped Sedum is ZinCo's green roof build-up for pitched roofs, based on Georaster interlocking grid elements of recycled HD-PE that hold growing media in place and carry shear forces to stable eaves and added shear barriers. The maker says it suits slopes above 20 degrees and up to 35 degrees, with special solutions designed by its engineers above 35 degrees, and advises planning for irrigation to avoid gaps in cover that lead to erosion. The build-up is a WSM 150 recycled-fibre protection and retention mat, Georaster elements and about 4.25 in of growing media (Zincoblend E below a 4/12 pitch, Zincoblend I above), planted with the Sloped Sedum community. Printed values are a build-up height of about 5 in, a saturated weight of about 35 lb per square foot and water storage of about 1.4 gal per square foot.
