Products / ZinCo Ornamental Sedum Green Roof System

Ornamental Sedum is ZinCo's extensive green roof build-up for a designed, hand-planted look, using root ball plants of sedum and other perennials chosen for a long blooming period. It uses the same layers as Sedum Carpet (optional WSF 40 root barrier, SSM 45 protection mat, Floradrain FD 25-E, SF filter sheet) with a deeper minimum of about 2.75 in of Zincoblend E growing media; rain is held in the Floradrain storage cells and the protection mat and reaches roots by diffusion, with excess drained away. The maker prints a build-up height of about 4 in, a saturated weight of about 22 lb per square foot and water storage of about 0.9 gal per square foot.
