A diamond-shaped metal shingle with four-sided interlocking and an integrated nail flange, installed with two nails per shingle and no clips, which the maker says makes it easier and faster to install and suited to high wind areas. The top of each shingle is extended and folded over beneath the next row and the bottom is folded under. Zappone supplies a pre-cut, pre-bent starter shingle that locks into what it calls the drop edge flashing (offered in copper and mill finish aluminum), and flashing on an eight inch nail spacing. No test ratings are printed for it.
