Inverted Seam is a concealed-fastener metal roof cladding system from Zahner for a range of roof applications, including low-pitch and nearly flat roofs. It has no upstanding ribs and no face fasteners; panels attach with internal interlocking hardware, and water is held on the surface or carried off through concealed channels that run the length of the roof to drainage. The system does not depend on seals or membranes and adds secondary and tertiary water deterrence in the cavity below the metal surface. Zahner lists aluminum, steel, stainless steel and brass surfaces for it.
