A high-strength, solvent-based contact adhesive for bonding EPDM and TPO membranes to porous and non-porous substrates, applied with a 9 inch medium nap roller at about 60 square feet per gallon of finished surface. It meets the under 250 g/L VOC limit of the OTC Model Rule for single-ply roofing adhesives. A second version, Low-VOC Bonding Adhesive 1168, adds smooth BUR, mineral cap sheet, smooth modified bitumen and gypsum to its substrates and is listed as complying with the VOC rules of California counties that the standard version does not meet.
