Elephant Skin is Warrior's premium mechanically attached synthetic roof underlayment, which the product page says meets or exceeds the applicable standards of ASTM D8257 and carries a skid-resistant walking surface for dry and wet traction. The September 2025 technical data sheet prints an 8 mil thickness, 48-inch by 250-foot 10-square rolls, passing results for unrollability to AC188, UV exposure and accelerated aging to AC48/AC188 and liquid water transmission to ASTM D4869, and a recommended exposure limit of 1 year. The limited warranty runs 20 years from purchase, is limited to roofs of 4/12 pitch or greater under asphalt, tile or metal roofing, and is void if the underlayment is left uncovered for more than 90 days, which is also the UV exposure the product listing advertises; the two exposure figures differ. Warrior states it is approved for Florida HVHZ areas under Florida code numbers FL2346 and FL40298.
