ADEKA is a patented roof or facade system of small pre-formed QUARTZ-ZINC or ANTHRA-ZINC elements with a locking key, each with a polystyrene wedge bonded to its underside for rigidity. Elements are 0.65 mm (0.0256 in) zinc, 15.5 in by 15.5 in, covering 1.22 sq ft each, packed 24 to a box (29.28 sq ft), and assemble without mechanical tools with a 5 cm overlap. The minimum slope is 3:12, and the system is fixed to vented open-gap softwood boards or vented 3/4 in plywood with VMZINC Membrane, with a full range of flashings; an additional waterproofing membrane may be required in heavy rain areas.
