SureMB 70 SA Base Ply is a 70-mil self-adhered SBS modified bitumen membrane with a fiberglass mat, a smooth sand surface, a selvage edge and a poly release liner. The technical data bulletin describes it as an air and vapor barrier and temporary roof that may be exposed for up to 90 days, and as a base ply in Versico multiple-ply systems, with AC TPO, AC EPDM or VersiFleece KEE HP membranes installed over it in Type III or IV asphalt or cold-applied adhesive. Rolls are 39 3/8 inches by 61 feet. The bulletin states it meets ASTM 6163 Type 1 Grade S and lists FM and UL approval when used as a vapor barrier.
