DuraFaceR is a rigid roof insulation composite panel with a closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded during manufacture to a 7/16-inch oriented strand board (OSB) facer, combining insulation and cover board in one panel. The technical data bulletin lists 47.5 x 95.5-inch and 47.5 x 47.5-inch panels in thicknesses from 1.5 to 4.0 inches, with LTTR R-values from 6.3 to 21.1, and an ASTM C1289 Type V designation. It is used under mechanically attached and fully adhered single-ply systems and may be set in Flexible DASH adhesive. The bulletin lists UL 1256 insulated metal deck assemblies, use as a component of UL 790 Class A roof systems, FM 4450 Class 1 and FM 4470 approval, Florida approval FL1296 and Miami-Dade NOA 04-1018.01.
